Project's Description

This project is the new departures and arrivals terminal for modern technology speedboats at the existing port of Lavrio. The total area is 2750m² and the main features are the two 2-storey reinforced concrete buildings, positioned at a distance of 11m between them. In this area, auxiliary structures such as a staircase, an elevator and connecting aerial walkways, made of rectangular hollow structural steel sections can be found; all these are covered by a 800m2 in plan steel duopitch roof. The complex is founded via a deep foundation system of piles and connecting pile-caps.
