Project's Description

Underground parking station accomodating 650 vehicles, with 3 basements of 151.00 x 47.50m plan, covering a total area of 18,315m². A square is constructed on its roof. Ag. Foteini street passes over the station. The excavation edges, that reached 14.50m in height were temporarily retained by piles and prestressed anchors.

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

After the completion, but before the start of operation of the facility, we were assigned to design the final landscaping of the square, on the roof of the 1st underground level. The design was based on a preliminary study by the technical department of the City of Nea Smyrni. It includes new structures, as well as the checking and strengthening of underlying existing ones. Structural design was undertaken in collaboration with Ioannis Kanatsoulis, civil engineer.
