Project's Description

Τhis 5 storey building is property of the Athens University of Economics and Business. Its full refurbishment was decided for two reasons. First, the structure was dangerous for its occupants and passers-by. Secondly, the university needed more space for its services and maximum utilization of allowable built area. The new building will have a 150m2 basement, 191m2 ground to 3rd floors and 150m2 4th and 5th floors. The latter are designed with a steel structural framing system and composite deck; they are additions to the initial establishment.
