Projec's Description

These are four, two-storey buildings, with a total area of 3300m². They are composite structures, with steel beams and columns and reinforced concrete slabs, cast on "Holorib" type trapezoidal metal sheeting. They are based on a reinforced concrete raft foundation, resting on a gravel, soil improvement layer. Moreover, there is a secondary steel framing system to support the masonry cladding. Finally, it should be noted that strict specifications have been set for the corrosion and fire protection of the steel sections, in order to ensure high durability, in such a coastal environment.
