Project's Description

"Structural Design and supervision of the renovation /refurbishment of Appolon Cinema in Chania city, for its new use as a retail store.

"Construction of a structurally independent steel space truss with a maximum span of about 20 m, as well as the addition of a steel-staircase, landing to the existing mezzanine, within the arena of the cinema.

The main use of the room in room structure is the suspension of lighting, MEP units channels, false ceiling and cat walks. In addition, it also serves as a potential support in case of collapse of the existing old thin walled sections truss roof .
